there should be another item on the sidebar called outbox and when you reply to an ask it appears in there for 1, maybe 2 seconds

i've long thought it would be fun to have an email domain that assigned your address, and the addresses of other email providers, a place on a lovingly rendered world map. emails would not be sent immediately, but would be dispatched to couriers and mail carriers on transit systems and would go on treacherous journeys that you could follow, a la progress quest or similar, taking maybe several days or sometimes longer. sometimes your little e-pony-express would be waylaid. sometimes your email would NOT find them well. sometimes your email would be lost at sea.
Sometimes a PostPet sends an e-mail to his owner or a frequent correspondent, either intentionally or accidentally. He may get into arguments with someone else's PostPet, who arrives bearing e-mail for his owner, and these arguments can turn into brawls.
